Glow Photo!

I'm really proud of the photos I took for this one, especially for the glowing ones! I'm starting to get the hang of the manual settings on my camera.

The dark photos only required a slight amount of editing to touch up the backgrounds which had some artifacting. My camera is pretty simple, only a couple of settings to play with. I actually took these photo in semi-dark, with a black light on them. This allowed me to use a higher shutter speed, which greatly reduces blurring which had been a problem in the past.

I actually used a cloth black storage cube that I got at Walmart to take the photos in which made for a great solid background and was the right amount of light that I still ended up with some bottle details in the images.

Wow what a busy term (being a university student my life is measured in 4 months stretches)! Had a great time at Sci-fi on the Rock, finals were kick ass, and the custom orders have been trickling in.
